[1.10.07] ALBUM UPDATES & iTUNES
We want to thank everyone that came out for our New Years Show at Discovery Church in South Side, PA. We had a great time and look forward to a new year! Please visit our Myspace page for updates on the new album and while you're at it, pick up a copy of our last album, Rethink:Reshape on iTunes.
[10.30.06] THRILLER!
If any of you have been to our myspace page lately, you would know that we've been playing shows as acoustic/electric trio. Last week, we ended our heart-stopping performance with Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Now, we're not just talking the verse and chorus. We had the whole "Creepy Michael and his girlfriend" dialouge before the song starts, zombie outfits AND the deep spoken ghoulish poem at the end. If you missed it this year, just wait to see what we have for next Halloween.
[9.27.06] BACK IN BUSINESS
Check out our upcoming shows page to see when Kairos is playing near you. We are currently filling up our tour schedule until December. Our goal for this year is to hit every venue in the Pittsburgh area that we haven't played yet. Thanks to everyone who came out to Club Octane and got to preview the new Kairos songs. There will be plenty more to come.
[9.4.06] HAPPY LABOR DAY
Thanks to everyone who came out to our latest shows and helped make the new guys feel welcome. We had a blast in New York City with our friends, Vaeda. They tore the roof off at their cd release party and let us play in front of a huge audience. You can pick up their new cd in stores everywhere, so check it out. We have 3 new songs that we will be playing at our upcoming shows. We'd love to hear your feedback, so drop us an email sometime. Take care.
[8.18.06] A NEW KAIROS
As many of you already know, Drew and Shar both decided to pursue other careers. They will be missed dearly and we wish them the best of luck in their new endeavors. We would like to introduce our new members, Jason Macheska (drums) and Dominic Misja (bass/keys). Some of you may remember Dominic as our original bass player. Jason is from Scranton, PA and moved in earlier this week to the Kairos Headquarters. We are extremely excited to have these guys on board and will continue to tour the country and rock your faces off. Check back for updated Bios, Promo Pics and exciting news from the road...

[5.17.06] CROWBAR SHUT DOWN
Today is a sad for kairos. We were informed that our favorite venue, The Crowbar, has officially closed their doors. Chuck Smitley, manager of the Crowbar, gave us the opportunity to play at the best venue in PA for the first successful shows of our career. We also want to thank Matt and Tony for running the best lights and sound Kairos has ever had. We will miss our home away from home and continue to play in State College regularly. Where?..we don't know yet.
[4.27.06] 3 NEW LIVE VIDEOS
Check out the live footage of Shine, Vestige, Ronzer and Tryst in the Silent Night on our Myspace page HERE. New shows have been added to the calendar and many more are in progress. [4.18.06] NEW SONG POSTED
If you haven't already listened to it, you can download a live version of "Vestige" on our MySpace page HERE. Kairos is busy booking shows for the summer and expanding our tour range. We are hoping to hit NC, SC, NY, TN, IN, MA, and anywhere else our van will take us. Since the sun has finally made its way to Pennsylvania, we can endure the East Coast for a little longer. When the seasons start to change again, perhaps Kairos will begin to head to the west coast for its "eternal summer tour".

[3.9.06] GOOD TO BE ON THE ROAD
We just got back from our recent tour of Eastern PA, Baltimore and Washington D.C. Although it was short, it felt great to get out of the studio and play for new people. We will be booking as many shows as possible in the upcoming months and making the Eastern loop frequently. If you received a promo cd, feel free to share it with your friends and local bands. We are always looking for new bands to share the stage with. Thank you for making this trip a memorable one.
[2.23.06] HAD A NICE GIG
Well folks, the news is here and Kairos will not be playing at Giants Stadium with Bon Jovi this summer, but we couldn't be happier. Why? Because we already had an amazing experience with them in Pittsburgh and realized how dedicated our fans are. We had so many people voting for us and encouraging the band and that makes us feel better than winning any competition. Thank you so much for rallying the troops, voting, sending emails to your friends and spreading the word. We have a lot of exciting events coming up and we can't wait to get back on the road. We leave this Sunday for our March tour through Eastern PA, Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio. Hope to see all of you there.
[2.5.06] NEW PICS FROM THE REX THEATRE
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Rex Theatre on Friday. Kairos has moved on to the final round of the Rex Rock Rumble. Please come out on Feb. 25th and help us win this thing! Check out the pics that our dear friend Christine Bare took at the Rex HERE. We are still awaiting a decision from the Bon Jovi contest with our hopes up and will let you know as soon as we do.
[2.5.06] CONGRATULATIONS PITTSBURGH!!
We knew this was Pittsburgh's year, which is why it came as no surprise when the Steelers brought home the Super Bowl XL trophy. Our hope of a Pittsburgh rebirth has settled into a slow confidence as we await a verdict from a competition of our own: the "Have A Nice Gig" contest. It remains to be seen whether Kairos will again take the stage with Bon Jovi, but it is certain that something stirs in the heart of in the Steel City. A cultural revival perhaps? We think so - and you had better believe we plan to play a part.
